"Do what you love and love what you do!" As a passionate student advocate, Gayle has over thirty years of diversified experience as a successful middle and high school educator, curriculum coordinator and college consultant. She has an extraordinary commitment to helping teens increase self knowledge and navigate their way through the college and career planning process.

College consulting began as an extension of Gayle's career in education many years ago. Parents and former students would contact her for college planning advice related to college admissions, college majors and career exploration . Gayle's commitment to consulting with students and families deepened as she navigated the college planning maze with her own three children, each with different needs and interests. Two of her children were recruited to play collegiate sports (Division I and II). They were offered athletic and merit based financial aid. All  three children graduated in four years. Two have completed Masters degrees and are happily employed. The youngest is a graduate student at Columbia University.

Gayle was recognized as the New York State Teacher of the Year in 2007 for her innovative and effective work with students. She is also a member of the Advisory Board for Health Barn USA, which is nationally recognized for educating children and parents about healthy lifestyles. Gayle continues to share her knowledge and experience with other professionals through professional development workshops.

As an educator, Gayle's work is focused on educational excellence in the areas of career exploration, financial literacy, healthy lifestyles and student learning strategies. She strongly believes that developing skills and understanding in these areas helps to build a strong foundation for college and career readiness- a springboard for future success.

To stay on the cutting edge of what's happening in the world of higher education, Gayle  attends professional development training and conferences related to financing college, college admissions trends and strategies that will support students in finding the right college match and prepare them for the rigors of college. She has taken numerous college counseling courses at UCLA and has completed summer institutes through IECA and PACAC at Villanova and Bucknell Universities. Gayle is a member of IECA, NYACAC, PACAC and NJACAC. She also makes time to visit college campuses and speak with students and admission officers.

Gayle's personality and passion, along her knowledge, experience and proven track record with students and their families can also help you navigate through the college planning process with confidence and success!
